Heirloom Hill Farm

Welcome to Heirloom Hill Farm

Located in Maysville, Kentucky

This is our second year of farming here in Maysville. We have a "green room" with grow lights to grow microgreens year-round and winter/early spring sowing for the farm. In the garden, we are using the no-dig method, growing our veggies in locally-made compost and mulch. We will use no chemicals on our property. We’ve also started an orchard along with berries (blackberries, blueberries and elderberries).

Our Goals:

2022 season - Our little farm is on a hill. This year, we completed the retaining wall for the graded portion of the property and installed the raised beds for the tomatoes and peppers. We also installed a cattle panel tunnel to grow climbing things. We grew peas, beans, cucumbers, summer squash, zucchini, carrots, beets in addition to the tomatoes and peppers. We also sold microgreens, my book, The Colonials, and gourmet filled cupcakes.

2023 season - This year, we will start out with 6-packs of lettuces and brassicas (broccoli, kale, cabbages for sale May 20th), and add artichokes, asparagus, strawberries, butternut squash, pumpkins and corn. We will also sell hot sauce from our very own peppers, pickles and relish.

2024 season- Hopefully, by this year, we will add blackberries, blueberries and elderberries.

2025 season - Our orchard is young. Maybe by this year, we will have some fruit. We have peaches, pears, apples and cherries planted.
